The seminar use  Microsoft POWER POINT. Each student receives a CD that includes the complete seminar. The last afternoon is set aside, so every student actually work on the system. 
The CATV-HFC system include a fibre optic link of 20 kilometers and five (5) amplifiers in cascade.
The system operate from:  5 - 40 / 50 - 870 MHz.
This system is fully bi-directional and each student will adjust the forward and reverse sections and should also get a good understanding on the operation of Cable modem and CMTS.
